The evacuation of foreign citizens continues at the Astara state border checkpoint. Mexican diplomats are among the evacuees. Due to the events and security, the diplomatic staff left Iran with the support of Azerbaijan.

Axar.az reports that the evacuation process, in which full security measures were ensured, was carried out in accordance with previously agreed procedures.

Mexican diplomats expressed their gratitude to the Azerbaijani government and people after the evacuation.

It should be noted that some foreign countries have appealed to the Azerbaijani government and asked to create conditions for their citizens in Iran to return to their countries via transit through the territory of Azerbaijan.
