The Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) said on Wednesday it detained a German citizen who had been allegedly involved in organising the explosion at a gas distribution station in Kaliningrad in March this year and had been trying to enter Russia.

Axar.az reports that, citing the Guardian, the German national, named as Nikolai Gaiduk, had returned to Russia “to organise acts of sabotage on local energy infrastructure”, according to a statement by the FSB.
