Buckingham Palace receptions halted for renovations

The receptions at Buckingham Palace, the London residence of the British monarchs, will be suspended from December until 2027 due to renovations.

Axar.az reports that according to The Times, the renovation works will cost a total of 462 million dollars.

All state events will be held at Windsor Castle instead.

It has been noted that after the renovations, King Charles III will not move back into Buckingham Palace and will continue to live at Clarence House in London.
