Russia is dissatisfied with the initial steps taken by Trump to resolve the Ukraine crisis. First, closed diplomatic negotiations were expected, but they are absent; there are only public calls, which are not serious.

Axar.az reports that Russian political analyst Sergey Markov stated this.

“Secondly, there are demands against Russia. Fine, but no demands have been made toward Ukraine at all.

Thirdly, there are strange threats of sanctions against Russia, which create a bad atmosphere for negotiations. Russia does not talk when it is threatened.

Fourthly, Trump openly demonstrates his incompetence regarding Ukraine’s reality. This can be seen in the numbers related to losses, which always differ.

As for Kellogg's idea to militarize Ukraine, it is the worst call.It threatens to derail all negotiations,” he said.
