A 5.6-magnitude earthquake has been recorded off the coast of Indonesia.

Axar.az reports that this information was published by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre.

The epicenter of the earthquake was located 375 km southeast of Ambon, a city with a population of approximately 355,000. The quake's hypocenter was at a depth of 151 km.

No casualties or damage have been reported.

No tsunami warning has been issued.
