Ukraine has the second largest Army in Europe

The Ukrainian army is the second largest army in Europe after the Russian army.

Axar.az reports that the Bild publication published information about this.

It was stated that Russia currently has the largest army on the European continent, with 1.3 million soldiers. Ukraine is in second place with 900 thousand soldiers, and Turkey is in third place with 355 thousand soldiers.

The military potential of Russia and the United States was also compared. It was emphasized that Russia has more tanks - 5750 units, while the United States has 4640 units. The United States has an advantage in the number of combat aircraft - 2680 (Russia has 1520).

The publication notes that European countries significantly surpass Russia in economic terms, which limits Moscow's capabilities in the military sphere.

At the same time, the Russian economy is already fully adapted to military needs.
