Lithuania has introduced a visa requirement for Georgian citizens holding diplomatic and service passports.

Axar.az informs, citing Delfi, the move follows a resolution by the Lithuanian government to implement the EU Council’s January decision to suspend the visa-free regime for Georgian diplomats and officials.

The new restrictions also apply to their family members, who will no longer benefit from the simplified or reduced-cost procedures for obtaining long-term visas.
