India has announced a new version of the causes of the Air India plane crash. It is reported that the main cause of the accident may be a malfunction of both engines.

According to the source, as soon as the engines failed, the pilot immediately sent a distress signal to air traffic controllers. However, it is emphasized that it is too early to conclude. Currently, investigations into the causes of the accident are ongoing.

According to previous assumptions, pilot error or a collision with birds were also among the possible causes of the accident.

Recall that on June 12, there were 242 people on board the Indian plane that crashed, of which only one - one-a passenger, sitting in seat 11A-survived. The plane crashed into a dormitory building. In total, according to the latest information, more than 310 people died.
