Russia may launch a large-scale summer offensive against Ukraine in the coming days or weeks.

Axar.az informs that this was reported in an article published by CNN.

It is noted that Ukrainian officials have warned that Russia has concentrated 160,000 troops along the front line.

The article emphasizes that the Russian army has made significant advances in the Kupyansk, Pokrovsk, and Kostyantynivka regions, placing Ukrainian forces in a difficult position. It also states that if the current trend continues, Ukraine may lose three key strongholds on its eastern front:

“In the last 72 hours, Russian forces have approached the town of Rodynske, located northeast of Pokrovsk. At the same time, they have made advances west of Pokrovsk, attempting to encircle the village of Udachne—this would give Russian forces greater ability to disrupt the logistics of Ukrainian troops stationed in Pokrovsk.”

Analysts believe that the 50-day grace period given to Russia by Trump has benefited Putin. According to their assessments, 50 days is enough for Russia to devise alternative plans and gain an upper hand over Washington through diplomatic maneuvers.

Commentators also argue that Trump’s grace period further complicates Ukraine’s situation.
