Rеports claiming that water-contaminated fuel was pumped into the vehicle of Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian are not true.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Reza Navaz, the spokesperson for Iran’s Fuel Station Union.

“Following an investigation, it was found that over 1,000 vehicles were refueled at the mentioned station on that day, and no complaints were received from any of the vehicle owners,” he said.

Reza Navaz emphasized that there could be other reasons why the president traveled to Tabriz by taxi:

“If the claim that all three vehicles in the presidential convoy broke down is true, the issue should be examined from other perspectives, such as technical or security-related factors. Linking it solely to fuel is absurd.”

It should be noted that earlier reports claimed that during an unofficial visit to Tabriz, three vehicles transporting President Pezeshkian and his security team broke down near Qazvin due to water-contaminated fuel, forcing the head of government to complete the rest of the journey by taxi.
