The EU has expanded its partial ban on financial services to Belarus, imposing a full prohibition under the 18th sanctions package.

Axar.az reports that this was stated in a declaration by the Council of the European Union.

“Restrictions on specific financial services have been extended to a complete ban on operations. An arms embargo on imports from Belarus is also being imposed,” the statement said.
