Chronic bronchitis is chronic inflammation disease of bronchi.

Axar.az reports that main symptom of the disease is a cough - which is also important protection mechanism and cleans exhale pathways. Recent studies among 18000 people in 16 European countries show that10% of the people suffer from chronic dry and wet cough, as well as from chronic bronchitis.

According to statistics, in the beginning of XX century only 50% of this disease became chronic, nevertheless, it rose to 90% now.

According to the same statistics, before only 45% of patients dead, but nowadays this number is 80%.
