WHO Baku Representative talked about the vaccine tests

The vaccine has been tested in more than 100 countries around the world.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from WHO Representative in Azerbaijan Hande Harmanci at a press conference on the preliminary results of the REACT-C19 project.

"If a vaccine is not completely reliable, it cannot be applied to the general population. We plan to introduce the vaccine to humans by the end of this year," Harmanci said.

She noted that easing the quarantine regime does not mean the end of the virus:

"We must follow the recommended rules and protect ourselves until the pandemic is over."
