The earthquake in Turkiye is the worst natural disaster in Europe in the last 100 years.

Axar.az reports that Hans Kluge, the head of the European office of the World Health Organization (WHO), said this.

He said that the demand for assistance in the region is very large and this demand is increasing every hour. Currently, 26 million people in the region need humanitarian assistance:

"The time has come for the international community to respond to Turkiye's generosity and support to various countries of the world over the years. Turkiye is the country that hosts the most refugees in the world."
