The terrible earthquake in Turkey: Death toll rises

The death toll in Elazig and Malatya reached 20, while the number of wounded reached 1015.

Axar.az reports that Turkish Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu, Health Minister Fakhraddin Goja, Environment and Urban Planning Minister Murat Kurum went to Elazığ.

A 6.8 magnitude earthquake occurred at 20:55 local time in Sivrica, Turkey's Elazig province.

Then there was another 5.4 magnitude earthquake in Elazig, followed by two earthquakes measuring 5.4 at 22.08 and 5.1 magnitudes at 22:17 Baku time.

The quake was felt in many cities in Turkey and in northern Iraq.
