The Azerbaijani flag was projected on one of the tallest buildings in Baghdad, the capital of Iraq, on the occasion of May 28 - Independence Day.

Axar.az reports that the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Iraq, Nasir Mammadov, shared about this on his X account.

"On the occasion of the national holiday of the Republic of Azerbaijan, May 28 - Independence Day, our national flag was illuminated on one of the tallest buildings in Baghdad. Thank you Iraq!"
