The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has started using special camouflage for painting small armored artillery boats made in Great Britain during the First World War.

Axar.az reports that it is noted that the boats of the "Island" class have patterns in various shades of gray, which makes them much more difficult to recognize using optical devices:

"This method of camouflage has partially lost its relevance with the spread of radar technology. Its main purpose is likely to interfere with optical sensors on drones not equipped with shipboard radars. The use of angular shapes and contrasting colors makes it difficult to determine its size, course and speed, and this in turn, reduces the probability of accurate hitting".
