On December 6, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received Sheikh Zayed bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) "2PointZero" company, Seyyed Basar Shuaibi, CEO and Managing Director of "International Holding Company", as well as Ali Alrashdi, CEO of "International Resources Holding".
Axar.az reports that Sheikh Zayed bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the "2PointZero" company, conveyed the greetings of Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, to the head of state.
The guest noted that the President of the United Arab Emirates has given instructions to expand cooperation with Azerbaijan in all areas. He said that there is great potential for the development of our relations and emphasized the establishment of a long-term, successful partnership between Azerbaijan and the UAE.
The head of state expressed gratitude for the greetings and asked him to convey his greetings to the President of the United Arab Emirates.
President Ilham Aliyev recalled with satisfaction Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan's visit to Azerbaijan and Karabakh in September of this year, as well as the meetings he held with him in our country and the United Arab Emirates.
Stating that our relations have risen to the level of a strategic partnership, the Head of State emphasized the high level of our political relations, noted the expansion of our cooperation in various fields, and highly appreciated the mutual support between our countries.
Stating that the UAE is a strategic partner of Azerbaijan in the field of renewable energy, President Ilham Aliyev noted the documents signed in this direction and emphasized the existence of good potential for expanding cooperation. The Head of State said that Azerbaijani-UAE cooperation is of great importance for the wider region.
During the conversation, the development of our bilateral relations in political, economic-trade, oil-gas, and other directions was emphasized.
An exchange of views was held on cooperation in energy infrastructure, renewable energy, investments, information technologies, the mining industry, and other areas.
