An Armenian court has dismissed a lawsuit filed by former President Robert Kocharyan against Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

Axar.az reports, citing Armenian media, that the information was published in the Datalex judicial information system.

Kocharyan had demanded that Pashinyan retract a statement published on his Facebook page that read:

"A court ruling has established that Robert Kocharyan is a bribe-taker."

He also sought 6 million drams in compensation for non-material damages.

Under the court's ruling, Kocharyan must also pay 200,000 drams to Pashinyan to cover legal expenses. If the ruling is not complied with voluntarily, it will be enforced by the Compulsory Enforcement Service at Kocharyan's expense.
