Armenia hails Baku–Yerevan peace breakthrough

The Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia, Armen Grigoryan, stated that the initialing of the peace agreement between Baku and Yerevan is a great success that has changed the entire atmosphere in the South Caucasus.

Axar.az reports that he said this during his speech at the international summit in Doha.

"Now we are discussing not the conflict itself, but how to strengthen peace and how to institutionalize it," A. Grigoryan emphasized.

According to him, the ratification of the peace agreement in the future and the restoration of communications in the region are part of the process of institutionalizing the agreements reached between Baku and Yerevan in Washington on August 8.
