No final decision on Azerbaijani troops in Gaza

There is no final decision regarding the participation of Azerbaijani servicemen in Gaza.

Axar.az reports that Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov stated this during a joint press conference with his Iranian counterpart, Seyyed Abbas Araghchi.

He declared that the developments in Gaza are causing serious concern:

“In this context, we welcomed the Peace Plan announced by the United States. Later, there were UN Security Council resolutions, and we expressed our support. Azerbaijan is one of the rare countries that maintains positive relations with all states, and there is trust in us. However, there are issues that raise questions for Azerbaijan regarding this matter. We have submitted our inquiries to the relevant sides. There are various aspects — the mandate, involvement of other states, and so on. We have not received full answers to the questions we raised. Therefore, there is no final decision regarding the participation of Azerbaijani military personnel there.”
