Minister of Foreign Affairs (MFA) Jeyhun Bayramov received Vladanka Andreeva, the Resident Coordinator of the United Nations (UN) in Azerbaijan, on the occasion of the completion of her diplomatic mission.

It was reported that Minister Jeyhun Bayramov noted with satisfaction the development of the current relations between Azerbaijan and the UN, thanked the Resident Coordinator for her efforts in this direction, and wished her success in her future activities.
The meeting discussed the issues on the current cooperation agenda between Azerbaijan and the UN, including the situation related to the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Satisfaction was expressed with the cooperation of our country with the UN and its specialized agencies.
It was recalled that in 2026 our country will host the 13th Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13), the main platform of the UN on urban planning. It was emphasized that these events demonstrate Azerbaijan's leading role in multilateral diplomacy.
It was stated that the implementation of the Azerbaijan-UN Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework document covering 2021-2025 was successfully completed, and the new document for 2026-2030, signed in October of this year, will mark the beginning of a new stage in the Azerbaijan-UN partnership.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov spoke about the large-scale restoration, reconstruction, and important steps taken in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan after the restoration of its territorial integrity, and the creation of an environment of stability and cooperation in the South Caucasus. He noted that the Joint Declaration signed in Washington on August 8, 2025, and other historic agreements reached, are an important stage in advancing the peace process in the region.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov wished the resident coordinator success in his future activities.
The meeting also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
