From February 28 at 08:00 until April 11 at 10:00, a total of 3,439 people have been evacuated from Iran to Azerbaijan.
Axar.az reports that 612 of those evacuated are Azerbaijani citizens.
At the same time, among those evacuated are 735 citizens of China, 374 of Russia, 284 of India, 198 of Bangladesh, 192 of Tajikistan, 151 of Pakistan, 136 of Iran, 84 of Oman, 68 of Indonesia, 57 of Algeria, 46 of Italy, 27 each from Germany and Canada, 26 from Spain, 25 from France, 21 from Georgia, 18 each from Saudi Arabia and Japan, 17 each from Uzbekistan and the United States, 16 from Bahrain, 14 each from Poland and Switzerland, 13 each from Nigeria, Kazakhstan and Belarus, 12 from Hungary, 11 from Mexico, 10 each from the United Kingdom, Bulgaria and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, 9 from Brazil, 8 each from Sudan and Venezuela, and 6 each from Finland, Kyrgyzstan, Romania, the Czech Republic, Australia, Slovakia, Belgium and the United Arab Emirates.
In addition, evacuees include 5 citizens each from Turkiye, Serbia, Sweden, Afghanistan, Austria, Greece and Vietnam; 4 each from Jordan, the Philippines, Ukraine, Sri Lanka, Kuwait and the Netherlands; 3 each from Qatar, Croatia, Denmark and Norway; 2 each from Nepal, Lebanon, Yemen, Myanmar, Cyprus, Egypt, Uruguay and Slovenia.
Furthermore, 1 citizen each from Tunisia, South Africa, the Maldives, Cuba, the Vatican, Argentina, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Latvia, Belize and the Dominican Republic has been evacuated from Iran to Azerbaijan.
It should be noted that the situation relates to ongoing regional instability, which has prompted large-scale evacuations of foreign nationals from Iran to Azerbaijan.
