Houthi attack damages Aramco building in Riyadh

Debris from an attempted Houthi attack damaged Saudi oil giant Aramco's corporate headquarters in Riyadh's financial district on Sunday.

Axar.az reports, citing Reuters, that the Saudi Energy Ministry said windows were blown out across several floors of the Aramco Tower, but the damage was limited. No injuries or fatalities were reported.

The Saudi-led coalition said air defences had intercepted Houthi missiles over Riyadh in the early hours of Sunday. It also reported intercepting another missile in Saudi Arabia's Eastern Province and destroying two ballistic missile launchers in Yemen's Saada region.

The Iran-aligned Houthis claimed responsibility for the attack and said Riyadh's international airport had also been targeted. Saudi authorities have not confirmed the reported airport attack.
