Azerbaijani embassy in Iran resumes operations

The Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Iran has officially resumed its operations, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated.

Axar.az reports that the diplomatic mission has restarted activity with an initial limited staff, including the ambassador.

According to the Foreign Ministry, the embassy will operate in a phased manner, taking into account security conditions and organizational requirements.

The statement noted that the reopening of the embassy shortly after the cessation of military operations and the announcement of a two-week ceasefire reflects Azerbaijan’s emphasis on relations with Iran and its commitment to maintaining diplomatic engagement with neighboring states.

It also reaffirmed Azerbaijan’s support for efforts aimed at ensuring sustainable peace and stability in the region.
