Unless you have been living under a rock this year, you know that tensions between the United States and rogue nation North Korea have been mounting since President Trump took office in late January.

Secretary of State Rex Tillerson recently warned that a preemptive strike against Kim Jong-un‘s regime is on the table during his first visit to South Korea and the DMZ this week.

Now, it appears there is only one man in the world who can broker peace and prevent this schism from further escalation.

As you probably recall, NBA Hall of Famer Dennis Rodman struck up an odd friendship with North Korea’s maniacal leader back in 2014.

On Friday, Rodman, who also knows President Trump personally from his time on Celebrity Apprentice, told TMZ he would be open to act as an ambassador of peace between the nations.

The most enigmatic basketball player of all time might have as good, or better, of a chance than anyone in government to prevent a potentially devastating nuclear war.
