The primary task for Armenia is to normalize relations with its neighbors, focus on economic development, and social policy, and relinquish long-standing territorial claims against its neighbors. This is of utmost importance.

Axar.az reports that Russian political analyst Aleksandr Razuvayev stated in an interview with "Moscow-Baku" that:

"Pashinyan has a 'trump card' against all previous leaders of Armenia—he can revive the country. There is a possibility of success. But the condition is peace with constructive mutual engagement with Azerbaijan and Turkiye. Pashinyan has considered the possibility of holding a referendum concerning the future process of delimiting the border with Azerbaijan. He is consulting with the public. It's possible that the next step might be a referendum on changing the constitution and removing territorial claims against Azerbaijan and Turkiye from the fundamental law."

Razuvayev added that the Prime Minister of Armenia is trying to choose the right path for his country:

"The only mistake has been in the policy regarding relations with Russia. Today, the Armenian government wants the West to be the country's main partner. The likelihood that this is the correct choice is low. Constructive relations with Russia are essential for Yerevan. As you know, Armenia did not sign the final document of the peace summit concerning Ukraine. This should be taken into account. Yerevan does not want significant problems with Russia, although it may seem controversial, yet it seeks it. The current Prime Minister is a Westerner. We see Armenia and the West interacting more and more closely every day. This also includes a new arms supply agreement between Armenia and France. Similarly, visits by US representatives exemplify this. This could potentially be a problem for Russia and Azerbaijan. Therefore, Pashinyan is politically engaging in this manner."
