On July 3, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov attended the opening of the 1st stage of the Khidirli village of the Aghdam region.

Axar.az reports that Khidirli village is located in the northwest of the city of Aghdam, 3 kilometers from the district center. President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva attended the groundbreaking ceremony of the village in October 2022. The area of ​​the village's designated territory is more than 417 hectares. It is planned to resettle about 6 thousand people and build 1,498 individual houses here in the 1st and 2nd stages.
