Turkiye maintains eastern relations while looking to the west

Even if Ankara turns towards the West, it will not stop deepening its relations with the East, including the BRICS group of countries and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

"Of course, we are oriented towards the West, but this does not mean that we will turn away from the East, ignore the East, or not improve our relations with the East," said the president.
