Somali President to attend COP29 conference

Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud will participate in the 29th session of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP29).

Axar.az reports that according to reports, this information was shared by Somalia’s newly appointed ambassador to Azerbaijan, Fathudin Ali Mohamed, during a meeting with President Ilham Aliyev.

The ambassador noted that the meeting between the leaders of Azerbaijan and Somalia during COP29 will provide additional momentum for the development of their relations.
