Iran, Russia, and Turkiye have issued a joint statement on the Middle East situation.

Axar.az informs that Iran's Mehr news agency reported that Iran, Russia, and Turkiye have issued a joint statement condemning Israel's actions in the Gaza Strip, as well as its attacks on Lebanon and Syria.

The joint statement was released during the 16th round of the Astana talks on Syria.

The three countries also called for a ceasefire in the Middle East, condemned all Israeli military attacks in Syria, and described these actions as violations of international law.

Additionally, the Turkish, Russian, and Iranian sides stated that relevant UN agencies should take measures to assist Lebanese refugees who moved to Syria following the escalation of the conflict.

The statement also addressed relations between Ankara and Damascus.
