Erdogan to propose freezing Ukraine conflict at G20

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is set to propose freezing the conflict along the current front lines in Ukraine at the G20 summit in Rio de Janeiro.

Axar.az reports that, citing Bloomberg sources, Erdogan plans to present his proposal during Monday's meeting of G20 leaders:

"Turkiye's idea includes establishing a demilitarized zone in the eastern part of Donbas and deploying international military forces in the area. Additionally, Erdogan will suggest to Volodymyr Zelenskyy that discussions on NATO membership be postponed for at least 10 years."

It should be noted that the G20 summit will be held in Brazil from November 18 to 19.
