On May 16, a working lunch was held in Tirana between the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Albania, Edi Rama.

Axar.az reports that the Head of State conveyed his congratulations to the Prime Minister on the successful organization of the 6th Summit of the "European Political Union".

During the conversation, satisfaction was expressed with the development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Albania, especially in the energy sector, as well as with fruitful cooperation within international organizations. The importance of the project to supply the Albanian city of Korca with Azerbaijani gas was emphasized.

The President of Azerbaijan and the Prime Minister of Albania exchanged views on the prospects of cooperation between our countries.
