Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Khalaf Khalafov held a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Minister of Foreign Affairs Murat Nurtleu.

Axar.az reports that this is stated in the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan.

During the meeting, the parties discussed topical issues of the Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan strategic partnership in bilateral and multilateral formats, as well as exchanged views on its future development prospects.

“Special attention was also paid to the mutual activity between the two countries in multilateral formats, including within the framework of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA), which is an effective platform for the formation of joint approaches to strengthening cooperation in the region.
