Azerbaijan congratulates Turkiye on Children’s Day

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan has congratulated Turkiye on the occasion of April 23 – National Sovereignty and Children’s Day.

Axar.az reports that the ministry made the statement on its X social media account.

"This day, gifted to children by the founder of the Republic of Turkiye, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, carries special meaning as a symbol of peace, friendship, and hope for the future.

The brotherhood and strategic alliance between Azerbaijan and Turkiye, strengthened under the principle of “one nation, two states,” continues to grow on the basis of these shared values. We are confident that our common history, culture, and values will continue to pass on the same spirit of unity and solidarity to future generations.

On this special occasion, we wish peace, prosperity, and sustainable development to brotherly Turkiye, and all children a healthy, happy, and bright future.

Happy holiday!" the statement reads.
