From May 17 to 22, 2026, a WUF13 Festival will be held in various cities to inform the public about the Thirteenth Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13), which will take place in Baku, Azerbaijan.
Axar.az reports that the festival program will consist of two parts.
In the first half of the day, information sessions about WUF13 will be organized in the cities where the events are held. In the evening, starting at 18:00, the festival will continue with open-air public programs.
The festival will open on April 28 in Baku at Clock Tower Square located in the Seaside Boulevard area. The events will then continue on April 29 in Sumgait at Goyarchin Park, on April 30 in Quba at Nizami Park, on May 2 in Lankaran at Gala Khiyabani Park, on May 4 in Gabala at Heydar Aliyev Park, on May 5 in Sheki at Bakhtiyar Vahabzade Park, on May 6 in Mingachevir at Heydar Aliyev Square, on May 8 in Ganja at Heydar Aliyev Square, on May 10 in Khankendi at Victory Square, on May 12 in Sumgait, and on May 13 in Baku.
As part of the evening programs, topics such as sustainable urban development, inclusive urban environments, innovative urban solutions, and cities of the future will be presented to a wide audience through interactive activities, educational games, presentations, and public discussions. Detailed information about the main theme and ideas of WUF13 will also be provided.
It should be noted that participation in the events is free, and everyone interested is invited to attend.
