Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and founder and head of the IDEA Public Union, attended the opening ceremony of the exhibition titled “Following the Footprints of Azerbaijan’s Nature,” held at the Seaside National Park as part of the “Explore Azerbaijan with IDEA” project.
Axar.az reports that the exhibition features photographs of 30 fauna species captured across Azerbaijan’s national parks by the project’s photographer and videographer, Saleh Bakhshiyev. A significant portion of the showcased species are included in Azerbaijan’s Red Book.
The exhibition, organized on the initiative of Leyla Aliyeva, is being held in partnership with the IDEA Public Union, the Seaside Boulevard Administration, and the Baku Zoological Park.
Running for one month, the exhibition offers residents and visitors of the capital an opportunity to explore images reflecting Azerbaijan’s rich biodiversity.
It should be noted that the “Explore Azerbaijan with IDEA” project, launched in 2025 on Leyla Aliyeva’s initiative, aims to promote the unique beauty of Azerbaijan’s wildlife to local and international audiences, as well as to create a multimedia database showcasing the country’s natural richness.
The project also serves as a call for environmental protection and the preservation of nature for future generations.
Exclusive photo and video content related to Azerbaijan’s nature can be accessed via the project’s official social media pages.
