Shusha and Trabzon become sister cities

Azerbaijan’s Shusha and Turkiye’s Trabzon have officially become sister cities.

Axar.az reports that a memorandum of cooperation was signed within the framework of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13).

The document was signed by Aydin Karimov, the Special Representative of the President of Azerbaijan in Shusha district, and Ahmet Metin Genc, Mayor of Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality.

It is worth noting that earlier it had been announced that the two cities would establish sister-city relations.
