Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze has met with Azerbaijani Defense Minister Colonel General Zakir Hasanov.

Axar.az reports that the Georgian head of government shared the information on his Facebook account.

“I met with the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Zakir Hasanov. During the meeting, we discussed bilateral, regional, and international cooperation issues.

We emphasized the high level of strategic partnership and defense cooperation between our countries.

We also focused on the importance of peace and stability in the region.

Georgian Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Irakli Chikovani also attended the meeting,” Kobakhidze said.
