Two more Azerbaijani-origin soldiers killed -

Repоrts have emerged that two more servicemen of Azerbaijani origin have been killed in the Russia-Ukraine war.

Axar.az reports that Aftandil Hajiyev, born in 1980, and Farhad Gasimov, born in 1973, lost their lives while serving in the Russian army during combat operations in Ukraine.

Aftandil Hajiyev, who was mobilized from the settlement of Kamenka in Russia's Leningrad Region, was killed in the Kharkiv direction. Farhad Gasimov, who had lived for many years in the village of Dubensovskaya in Russia's Rostov Region, was killed in the Donetsk direction.

They were serving in motorized rifle brigades of the Russian Armed Forces.

It should be noted that since the start of the Russia-Ukraine war, reports have regularly emerged about casualties among people from various countries on both sides of the conflict, including individuals of Azerbaijani origin.
