The identities of three of the Azerbaijani citizens killed in the drone attack on a vessel in the Sea of Azov have been confirmed.

Axar.az reports that Azerbaijani citizens Gismat Aliyev, Fuad Orujov, and Mohammad Aliyev were killed in a UAV strike on a vessel sailing under the flag of Palau.

Qismat Aliyev served as the ship’s chief engineer, while Fuad Orujov was the captain.

Mohammad Ilham oglu Aliyev, born in 1993, was a resident of Ashagi Tala village in Azerbaijan’s Zagatala District.

Mohammad Aliyev moved from Zagatala to Russia several years ago to join his father. He had been working aboard ships since then and served as the second mate on the vessel.

The injured in the incident are in stable condition and are currently receiving treatment in the surgery and traumatology departments of the Yeysk Central City Hospital.
