Azerbaijan has always emphasized the importance of stopping wars, finding diplomatic and political solutions, and achieving at least two stages in the process — reaching a ceasefire and securing long-term peace. Unfortunately, we are witnessing the geographical expansion of the Russia–Ukraine conflict.
Axar.az reports that this was stated by Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov during a press conference held within the framework of the 10th meeting of the foreign ministers of Turkiye–Azerbaijan–Georgia.
According to him, this is clearly reflected in the Black Sea region, and its tragic consequences are being observed every day.
“As a result of a drone attack on two cargo ships, four of our citizens were killed and four were injured. As the war continues, it becomes clear that no one is immune to such incidents. The cessation of military conflicts is important; otherwise, it brings great disasters for the parties to the conflict and also poses serious global threats for neighboring and regional countries.
Once again, I call on Azerbaijani citizens, as well as citizens of our brotherly countries, to stay away from areas of military conflict and strictly follow safety measures,” he said.
