Azerbaijani sailor still missing after ship incident -

There is still no information on the whereabouts of Azerbaijani citizen Gismat Aliyev, born in 1969, following the ship incident that occurred on the night of June 5.

Axar.az informs, citing Xezer TV, that Aliyev, a resident of Diyalli village in the Ismayilli district, served as chief engineer aboard the Zirkon cargo vessel, owned by the Cunda company, which was en route from Turkiye to Russia.

After the incident, the family was informed that the ship had been hit. Although search-and-rescue teams were deployed, his relatives say they have yet to receive any definitive information about his fate.

Aliyev's family says it is anxiously awaiting any news about him.
