Nineteen Azerbaijani citizens, crew members of ships damaged in drone attacks in the Sea of Azov on June 5, have been sent back to Azerbaijan and are expected to arrive in the country around midday today.

Axar.az reports that the information was provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan.

It was also noted that as a result of search and rescue operations, the bodies of Gismat Aliyev (born 1969) and Fuad Orucov (born 1981) were recovered.

After the completion of the relevant procedures, the bodies of four deceased citizens, as well as two family members who remained in the city of Yeysk, are expected to be repatriated in the coming days.
