Azerbaijan Airlines will launch special flights on the Baku-Istanbul-Baku route on June 17-18.

Axar.az reports that, during the check-in procedure, passengers will have to a certificate confirming negative result on COVID-19 testing

Upon departure from Baku, certificates from the laboratories accredited by the Management Union of Medical Territorial Units (TABIB) are considered valid. In both cases, the test must be passed no later than 48 hours before the scheduled flight departure.

Flights in each direction will accept only 150 passengers. The sale of tickets for Baku-Istanbul-Baku flights will be opened on the airline's website, www.azal.az. Tickets for the Baku-Istanbul flight are available only to citizens of Azerbaijan, Turkey and other states eligible to enter those countries. However, only Azerbaijani citizens will be allowed to the Istanbul-Baku flight.
