During his visit to Tavush, Nikol Pashinyan said that the "4 disputed villages" should be returned to Azerbaijan, otherwise the war would start.
Axar.az reports that Armenian journalist Voskan Sargsyan said these words while talking about Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's visit to Tavush and meeting with residents.
He said that the Prime Minister threatened the residents by saying that it was necessary to hand over the villages of Baganis Ayrym, Ashaghi Eskipara, Kheyrimli, and Gizilhajili.
"Today, Pashinyan met with the residents of Baganis Ayrim and surrounding settlements in the village of Eskipara. Deputy Mher Grigoryan, Governor of Tavush Hayk Galumyan, and head of Noyemberyan (Barana) community Arsen Aghababyan also participated in the meeting.
Nikol Pashinyan again showed the map of Armenia that he showed at the last press conference. He told the residents that 4 villages wanted by Azerbaijan should be handed over, otherwise he threatened war. Residents asked, what concession will Azerbaijan make to Armenia in exchange for the villages? The prime minister noted that Baku will not pay any compensation.
V. Sarkisyan claimed that N. Pashinyan explained that there are three ways of the Armenian people regarding the villages:
"The Prime Minister threatened the residents at the meeting that we will either hand over the villages, or we will not agree, or we will go to war with Azerbaijan. This time, he allegedly tried to scare the residents by emphasizing that Turkiye would also join the war on the part of Azerbaijan. Pashinyan also announced that Azerbaijan has taken control of the main positions on the border.
It should be noted that a detailed statement about Pashinyan's visit today has not been released. The Cabinet of Ministers informed that the videos of the meetings will be posted on the official social network channels soon.
