According to information, on April 12, 2024, Bagirov Mirfattah Bagir, born in 1965, and Teymurov, Khagani Allahverdi, born in 1973, fell into an anti-personnel landmine near the former contact line, in an area not cleared of mines. Both men were injured in the leg.

An investigation is underway at the Aghdam District Prosecutor's Office.

"The Ministry of Internal Affairs, the General Prosecutor's Office, and ANAMA once again call on citizens to observe safety rules, to pay attention to mine danger signs and not to enter areas they are not familiar with," it was emphasized in the information.

Mirfattah Bagirov was taken to Barda District Central Hospital, and Khagani Teymurov was taken to Yevlakh District Central Hospital.

It should be noted that the incident was recorded today near the former contact line, in an area that has not been cleared of mines.

The condition of Mirfattah Bağır oğlu Bagirov, who was injured by a mine in the Aliagalı village of Aghdam district, which was liberated from occupation, is in a serious condition.

Vusal Mammadov, director of Barda District Central Hospital, said this.

"When the patient was admitted, he was diagnosed with a traumatic amputation of the left paw, including the lower third of the left leg, extensive shrapnel injury of the back of the left leg, and severe traumatic shock. In addition, he is a diabetic," - V Mammadov said.

According to him, the necessary medical interventions are being carried out and a surgical operation is planned for the patient.
