The West Azerbaijan Community called on the world community to condemn the anti-peace activities of religious figures of the Armenian Gregorian Church.

Axar.az reports that this was stated in the statement of the organization.

"As it is known, according to the agreement reached between Azerbaijan and Armenia on April 19, 2024, it was decided to take certain practical steps regarding border delimitation.

However, in recent days, several subversive forces in Armenia are trying their best to prevent the implementation of the said agreement, which could contribute to the achievement of lasting peace between the two countries. It is very worrying that religious figures of the Armenian Gregorian Church took an active role in those processes. The mentioned clerics make political demands, oppose peace with Azerbaijan, and openly call for revenge and war.

The anti-peace activity of the Armenian Gregorian Church during Azerbaijan's hosting of the World Intercultural Dialogue Forum is regrettable and speaks volumes. It should be noted that the Armenian Gregorian Church was particularly active in the expulsion of Azerbaijanis from Armenia and the military aggression of Armenia against Azerbaijan.
