Amnesty International issued a statement regarding the Azerbaijani activist Sharifa Mohammadi, who was detained in the prison of Rasht city and sentenced to death.

Axar.az reports that this was shared on the organization's media account.

In the statement, it was said that the activist's trial was held unfairly, the death sentence was condemned, the verdict was canceled and Sharifa Mohammadi was demanded to be released.
