Russia discusses potential consulate in Karabakh

The issue of opening new Russian diplomatic missions in Azerbaijan, including a possible consulate in Karabakh, is being discussed at a political level.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Alexey Klimov, head of the Consular Department of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in an interview with TASS.

He emphasized that the consular department would begin taking operational steps after reaching an agreement with the Azerbaijani side.
